The myth of downhill mountain biking

For those who don’t know yet, the Alpe d’Huez Megavalanche is one of the most legendary and unmissable marathon descents in the world! Since 1995, thousands of riders have taken the start from the Pic Blanc, in all sorts of weather conditions! Its ‘mass start’ at 3330 meters of altitude on the Sarenne glacier and its arrival in Allemond, 2600 meters below, make this DH Marathon the longest and craziest race in the world. While this internationally renowned event takes place, the MEGA KID, dedicated to children, and the e-Megavalanche, a category reserved for electrically assisted mountain bikes, are also being held.
