About : Alpe d’Huez: the Sarenne Gorges by e-bike

ROUTE
From the cable car, make your way over to the XC 8 track which heads towards the Quartier des Bergers and then on to the Col de Sarenne through lovely high-altitude pasture land. The track carries on to the Pont de Sarenne bridge, before running alongside the river through the gorges. You then arrive in the village of Huez where you can stop for a while to explore the steep lanes before joining up with the main road up to Alpe d'Huez. Once in the centre of Alpe d'Huez, follow the signs for "Rond point des pistes" and climb up to the DMC cable car station and the Alpe d'Huez mountain bike school. Carry on along the paved road, following signs for Lac Besson, past the Plage des Neiges restaurant to the Poutrain cable car station on an easily-visible path that goes under the cable car. Take the cable car back to Oz.
