The myth of downhill mountain biking
For those who don't know, the Alpe d'Huez Megavalanche is one of the world's most legendary marathon downhill runs!
About : Megavalanche
Since 1995, thousands of riders have taken to the Pic Blanc every year, in all weathers! With a Mass Start at 3330 metres above sea level on the Sarenne glacier, and a finish at Allemond 2600 metres below, this DH Marathon is the longest and craziest race in the world.
Alongside this internationally renowned event are the MEGA KID, dedicated to children, and the e-Megavalanche, a category reserved for electrically-assisted mountain bikes.
