The ride from Mizoën goes gradually up a 4WD track, with a wonderful view over the Meije on at the top. You can then cycle over a large part of the plateau and go down via the beautiful village of Besse and then on to Mizoën on the road.

Take the track that starts at the top of the village, signposted Singuigneret and carry on up the 4WD track past the Refuge des Chatons hut. Stay on a wide track to the Refuge du Fay and the Refuge des Mouterres huts, before continuing to the Col Nazié, where you pick up the 4WD track back to Besse. Cycle back down to Besse and on to Mizoën on the road.
